Nashville, Tenn. — The group Stonehoney has been fine-tuning their live performances, touring relentlessly and giving Austin, TX another band to evidence why their adopted city is the live music capital of the world. Stonehoney’s debut album The Cedar Creek Sessions embodies the "in the moment" energy of their live shows by being cut entirely live in the studio. Set for release on July 6th on Austin-based Music Road Records, The Cedar Creek Sessions captures the vulnerable vocals and smart, insightful lyrics of this four front-man band.

Tommy Emmanuel is best known for his complex fingerpicking style and energetic performances that bring a sense of jazz improvisation into a mix that includes blues, country, rock, classical and Spanish music.  Four-time winner of Australia's Best Guitarist award, he has toured and worked with Sir George Martin, Stevie Wonder, Eric Clapton, Chet Atkins, Larry Carlton, Dave Koz, Joe Walsh, Roberta Flack, The Chieftains and many more.  "One hesitates to refer to Tommy Emmanuel simply as a guitar player, because he is unquestionably one of the most gifted artists of our time." Dertybird, Clayton Colvin and JT Holt, was brought together through the company of Malcolm "Papa Mali" Welbourne. Fusing Claytons soulful voice, and honest lyrics and voice with JT's raw, gut bucket guitar riffs, the two recognized their potential as a team.

Trademarked by solid gutsy vocals and searing slide guitar, Dertybird established their "known-for" musical style during a rigorous Deep South tour. Shortly after released their debut record, Pure Analog.

The Sessions, the auspicious brainchild of Lauren Bucherie and CJ Vinson that provides a platform for the singer/songwriter genre to gain exposure in a crowded music scene, is pleased to announce A Summer Dance Party to be held on Saturday, July 10, at Austin’s One World Theatre. The Black and White Years, Austin Music Award’s Best New Band in 2009, will headline the event. A favorite party band on the local scene, L.A.X. performs as the opening act on the bill.

The party kicks off when the gallery doors open at 8 p.m. for a special pre-concert cocktail hour that will feature a showcase for local painters and artists and a performance by Cowboy and Indian.
