Sara Lynn, the new artist from British Columbia has won the first ever Austin Music City CD Voter''s Poll with a rousing turnout that brought out many of her long term fans and new ones as well. The song "Thing For You" is the first release on her new album and it was released in late September. All the songs in the album were written and produced by Lynn and two top gun musicians, Todd Ostrowercha and Tim Hearsey, all based out of British Columbia, Canada. She''s very passionate about her music and is looking forward to traveling the world, making music and making new friends along the way.

Growing up on Country Music,Lynn lists fellow Canadian Terry Clark as one of her influences but also names The Band, Tom Petty, and The Rolling Stones as some major contributors as well. Performing for the last ten years professionally, Lynn states "I have learned so much from the musicians that perform ''live'' with me that I couldn''t have learned any other way. It''s given me years of growth as an artist and a person, and I still have so much to learn- I can hardly wait."

Lynn is gearing up for an extensive touring schedule and has also released a new video in conjunction with the album that can be seen at her website saralynn.com.
